The purpose of this project was conduct a topographic and obstacle survey on Siem Reap and Phnom Penh airports, in order to obtain the data necessary for the study of the conformity to the International Civil Aviation Organization standards. We conducted leveling of aeronautical pavements with an accuracy of <0.1%, identified, measured and photographed potential obstacles to aircraft including antennas, lights, buildings and containers and conducted an analysis of slopes on aeronautical pavements and surrounding strips.

Aruna was contracted by KCEC to install a series of permanent benchmarks approximately every 1 km plus all bridges, approximately 250 points. Each benchmark was surveyed to 5 cm horizontal accuracy using post-processed differential GPS equipment. Then the entire network was surveyed using a digital level to 0.2 cm accuracy. All benchmarks were documented and a report produced to allow the benchmarks to be used as the primary reference for national road rehabilitation along the route.

Aruna Technology Ltd. provided processed satellite imagery and aerial ortho-photography to aid in site selection and layout of botanical gardens. Once the site was selected, Aruna performed a topographic survey of the site including establishing benchmarks and other reference points.
